Valve Cranks Up the Hype by Acknowledging Deadlock

Valve has officially unveiled its latest creation, Deadlock, a steampunk-style fusion of MOBA and action shooter game with a unique 6v6 format. In Deadlock, players battle across four lanes, each defended by various steampunk automaton-like units. The game reaches its climax when an opposing patron is defeated.

The game’s early access phase was an open secret, with a select group of players able to invite friends on Steam, building excitement ahead of the full release. Deadlock is expected to be a fresh addition to Valve’s lineup, blending their signature experience with Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2 with a unique steampunk aesthetic.

Deadlock is still in early development and as such a lot of details are not final.
