Metaphor: ReFantazio Sells Over 1 Million Copies on Launch Day!

In an incredible feat, Atlus’ Metaphor: ReFantazio has already sold over one million copies within its first 24 hours of release, breaking records as the fastest-selling Atlus game ever. This surpasses the previous record held by Persona 3 Reload, which took a week to reach the same milestone.

Released on October 11, the game is already climbing Steam’s most-played list with nearly 43,000 concurrent players and continues to gain traction across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Publisher Sega and Atlus celebrated the achievement by releasing a special illustration from renowned character designer Shigenori Soejima.

Metaphor: ReFantazio, set in the medieval fantasy realm of Euchronia, is the latest RPG from the creators of Persona 3, 4, and 5. Fans are excited to dive into the epic story of an orphaned boy vying for the throne, and with this pace, it’s expected the game will hit two million sales soon!
