Indie Developers Shine in Pitch Competition
Gamescom Asia 2024 also celebrated indie creativity with the Pitch Competition, which attracted 55 entries from developers worldwide. The final 13 competitors presented their projects to a panel of industry judges. The winners included:

- Ammobox Studio’s Project Guardian – Best Game Design
- Bit Egg Inc’s Lost and Found Co. – Most Anticipated Game
The competition emphasized Southeast Asia’s growing talent, with eight finalists hailing from the region.
Xbox Champions Asian Creators
In an inspiring talk, Agnes Kim, Director of Global Expansion at Xbox, discussed the company’s efforts to support Southeast Asia’s developer ecosystem. Agnes also revealed upcoming titles like SEDAP! by KopiForge, Let’s Build a Dungeon by Springloaded, and DreadHaunt by Digital Happiness, highlighting the region's promising gaming future.
