BLAST Announces Singapore as the New Host for World Finals 2024

In an exciting development for the esports community, BLAST has revealed that its World Finals in 2024 will be held in Singapore, marking a significant move after the tournament's two-year stint at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. This decision underscores Singapore's growing reputation as a premier destination for esports events.

James Woollard, BLAST's Director of Market Development, expressed enthusiasm for the new location, stating,

"We are excited to host the BLAST Premier World Final and the BLAST Dota Slam in Singapore. The Counter-Strike event marks the first BLAST-branded event in Southeast Asia and the inaugural Counter-Strike tournament series in the region, solidifying Singapore's position as a world-class esports destination."

The BLAST Premier World Final 2024 is scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 3, featuring eight of the world's top teams competing for a massive $1,000,000 prize pool. Among the contenders are all three previous champions—Vitality, G2, and Natus Vincere—alongside Spirit and FaZe.

With three more spots yet to be filled, the competition is heating up. The winner of the BLAST Fall Final will secure one of these spots, while the remaining two will be determined by the BLAST World Ranking. Teams like MOUZ, Astralis, Liquid, and Virtus.pro are in the running, vying for those coveted final invitations.

As the countdown to October 2024 begins, the anticipation for this landmark event continues to build, with Singapore poised to host one of the most prestigious tournaments in the esports calendar.
